You can copy files from FList and
FL. You might want to do this before editing a file so you can keep a
copy of the old version. Type FList or
(whichever you prefer).
Now place the cursor in the command spot next to the file you would like to copy. Type
COPY / [FILENAME] [FILETYPE] [LOCATION]
You can type = = in place of [FILETYPE] and [LOCATION] to copy the file to a different disk. If you are creating a copy on the same disk
be sure to choose a different filename.
*NOTE: Remember that you
must hit F11 in FList to
make room for a long command!
You have created a copy of the file. If you are using FL
you can simply hit the F2 button to refresh the file list.
If you are using FList you must exit, by hitting F3,
and re-enter to see the newly created copy.
